What to expect

What type of church is Greater Community?
We are a part of the Church Of God In Christ denomination, which is of the Pentecostal faith. Whether you’ve been attending church for years or this is your first time, you’ll feel welcome at the Greater Community.

When are services?

Our services are every Sunday. Our services last 80 – 90 minutes. You should arrive about 10 minutes early if you have children. That will give you plenty of time to check them in at The Powerhouse Youth Ministry before the service begins.

What should I wear?

Whatever you want! We welcome jeans, t-shirts, suits & ties, dresses & skirts… you get the idea. Come as you are.

What happens when I arrive?

As you approach our worship facility you will be directed which way to park by an attendant. As you enter the facility our friendly greeters will point the way for worship service or to Powerhouse Youth Ministry if you have children. Our greeters will be available to answer any questions, our ushers will hand you a program, and find you the best seat available when you get to the sanctuary.

What is service like?

First of all, you won’t be pointed out or made to feel uncomfortable in any way. You will have a meaningful, stress-free experience… and you’ll have a lot of fun. Powerhouse Youth Ministry will be the Best time of your kid’s week. They are invited to join us in a fun, safe & clean environment where our team of volunteers creates an environment your child will want to come back to every week!
